Mariyah Moten was born in Karachi, Pakistan on January 18.  She moved to the United States at the age of 5.  Mariyah Moten stated modeling for local boutiques and charity fashions shows at the age of 16.  Few years later she signed on with Barbizon Modeling Agency

In 2006 she participated in a national beauty contest and placed in the top 5.  Later that year she was given an opportunity to participate in the Miss Tourism Queen International Pageant where she won the Miss Charity title.  Mariyah also became the first Pakistani to participate in the Miss Bikini Universe pageant in August 2006 and won the Miss Press/Best in Media title, as being the most photographed and written about delegate at the contest.   Mariyah Moten also appeared on the front cover of sexy south asian girls 2007 calendar.  Mariyah also made an appearance at the Bollywood Music Awards 2006 in Atlantic city, where she presented the best dance video award.  She also signed with Kohinoor Diamonds to be the spokesperson and model for 2007.  She also modeled for various south asian clothing lines.    She also became the face of mainstream South Asian women by professionally representing herself in the world of fashion and modeling. 

Mariyah Moten is a true beauty, inside and out. She has taken her desire to do what she wants and has broken boundaries like no one before her. After participating in a pageant, not winning but placing respectably, she used that momentum to participate in global pageants. She has also become the face of mainstream South Asian women by professionally representing herself in the world of fashion and modeling. All these great things have not come without controversy, however. She has been at the receiving end of paramount criticism from Pakistani government officials for using the title Miss Pakistan Bikini.

Mariyah Moten has always been passionate about the entertainment industry, she attended the JLS make up school and then completed her training in acting at the New York Film Academy and is currently working with TVI actors studio.
